The OSU/OOU Law Alumni Association started as the OOU/LAW/CONCERNED ALUMNI LEAGUE. Conceived by the administration of Professor O.M. Oliyide, the League was inaugurated on Thurday, 11th December 2014. The occasion was held with full pomp and pageantry at the Faculty’s Lecture Theatre under the Chairmanship of the then Vice Chancellor of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Professor Saburi Adejimi Adesanya with all other principal members of the university, Staff and Students of the Faculty in attendance.

The First OOU/LAW/Alumni Lecture titled: “The Role of the Alumni in Growing Alma Maters” was delivered by an accomplished alumni of the class of 1989; Mr. Oladele Solanke (May his soul rest in peace). Alumni present at the occasion were inaugurated into the League and the first Annual General Meeting was held on that day at the same venue. The said meeting saw the emergence of Chief Fassy Yusuf as the first protem Chairman of the OSU/OOU/Law Alumni Association, a position, he held till the election of Mr. Segun Sipeolu as the President of the Association.
